Shipping & Delivery

What is the difference between shipping and delivery?
Shipping refers to packing and dispatching of your order. While placing an order, you may find a shipping timeline on the products displayed on the website (e.g. dispatched within 5 days). All orders which are in stock are dispatched within 72 hours of the order placed (except weekends and national holidays). This refers to the number of working days it will take to dispatch the product from our end. The delivery may take another 1-3 days depending on the address specified for the order. In case of remote areas, the orders are delivered within 7-8 business days.

Do I have to pay any shipping and delivery charges?
Shipping and Delivery charges are particular to each order and are shown as separate charge during checkout process. The charges vary depending on your location, weight & volume of the product.

What is the expected delivery time for my order?
All orders which are in stock are dispatched within 72 hours of the order placed (except weekends and national holidays) and delivered within 2-7 days depending on the delivery location.

Which courier company will deliver my order?
For a smooth delivery of your orders, we have tied up with a few trustworthy delivery partners. Once your order is dispatched, you will be informed about the shipping details via E-mail/SMS.

What should I do if I find my package opened or tampered with upon delivery?
Techshresta believes in making your shopping experience perfect. However, if you receive an open or a tampered package, please do not accept it. Report this concern by writing to us at info@booknetz.com within 48 Hrs of delivery of package. We will look at it immediately and get back to you.

Why did I receive a partial order?
We strive to deliver your complete order at once but in some cases, it may happen that few of the products get out of stock at time of dispatch. The expected date and time of delivery will be communicated to you before the dispatch of your order. Items with different delivery times are shipped to you separately. Do not worry your order may be on its way to you!

Under rare circumstances, if we are unable to fulfil your order, we will refund you the full payment made towards that particular product, at the earliest.

How can I find out if Techshresta delivers to my location?
Based on the delivery pin code you enter; we will let you know if we deliver at your location. Techshresta keeps updating the list of serviceable Pin Codes. So, if delivery option is not available right now, please come back to see if this has changed.

The status on the tracking website shows delivery was attempted but I was not there. Is it possible to get the delivery now?
The courier companies usually make more than one attempt to deliver your order. In case you do not receive your order, please get in touch with us.

What if the order is not delivered within estimated delivery time?
In case the order is not delivered within estimated delivery time, following could be the reasons:

  1. the address or PIN Code provided is incorrect

  2. Nobody is present at the address to collect the shipment

  3. COD or cash is not ready at the time of delivery

  4. you asked for a delayed delivery

  5. you request for self-pickup at later point in time


Returns & Replacements

Which products are eligible for return or replacement?
If the product you have received is damaged, defective or item not as described. In this case, return request has to be made within 2 days of receiving the order

What can I do if I have placed an order by mistake, and it has already been delivered?
If you have ordered a product by mistake and it has been already dispatched, replacement or refund is not applicable. It can only be cancelled before dispatch of products.

If I receive a wrong product, can I get it replaced?
We take utmost care to ensure customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, if you receive a wrong product or ‘Not as Described’ please raise a replacement request or get in touch with us. You will also have the option to choose refund for the product.

If I receive a physically damaged product, can I get it replaced?
Delivery is usually safe, but, if you receive a damaged product you can return/replace it. To avoid any hassle, go through the following steps:

  1. On delivery, check if the product is packed properly, is factory sealed and there is no physical damage to the carton.

  2. If you are concerned, don't open the product yourself. Call the Techshresta customer care for further assistance.

How do I place a replacement request on Techshresta.com?
If you want to replace a product on Techshresta, please follow these steps:

  1. Create a replacement request by calling our customer care. You can place a replacement request for a product bought on Techshresta within 7 days of delivery.

  2. Once the replacement request is created, we will ensure that the replacement is processed as soon as possible. 

I have requested a replacement, when will I receive it?
Once you have raised a replacement request, our team will investigate and initiate the replacement process. You will receive an e-mail advising you on the estimated delivery date. Based on customer location, delivery span varies.

Is there any product not eligible for replacement/return?
All items which can be resold are always eligible for return. The following items are not eligible for return/replacement:

  1. Items that have been used/assembled/altered or damaged due to the misuse of product.

  2. Digital products like eBooks.

  3. Products which were sold as combos/sets, are not eligible for return/replacement as individual items

  4. A product is not eligible for return if you have ordered it by mistake. It can only be cancelled before dispatch.

Note: All items returned must be unused and in their original condition with all original tags or boxes and packaging intact

What if I choose to have my order replaced and the product is sold out?
Replacement can be initiated only if the product is in stock. Unfortunately, if the product is out of stock then refund is initiated after your confirmation.

When are returns not possible?
There are certain scenarios where it is difficult for us to support returns, which are:

  1. If the return request is made outside the specified time frame.

  2. Items that are returned without original packaging, freebies or accessories.

  3. If the product is damaged because of use or the product is not in the same condition in which you had received it.

  4. Defective products which are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.

  5. Any consumable item which has been installed or used.

  6. Products that may/have been tampered or products with missing serial numbers.

  7. Anything missing from the package received including price tags, labels, original packing, freebies or Accessories.

Do I need to pay the courier company to send my product back for replacement? Will I get the money back?
Once you have raised a successful replacement request on Techshresta, you can ship the product back to us. We will manage the return using our courier partner and you will not be charged for this.


Cancellation & Refunds

How do I place a cancellation request on Techshresta.com?
If you wish to cancel your order, please follow these steps:

  1. The order can be cancelled any time before dispatch of products. Once the shipment email is sent, the order cannot be cancelled. 

  2. If you wish to cancel your order, Kindly email us at info@techshresta.com mentioning your order details and reason for cancellation. 

  3. Once the cancellation request is created, we will ensure that the cancellation is processed as soon as possible.

Note: Cancellation requests can be raised at any time before the shipping of the order. Once the order is cancelled, we will refund any prepaid amount as per our Return Policy.

Why was my order cancelled by Techshresta.com?
We regret the inconvenience caused due to order cancellation. Your order may have been cancelled due to any of the following reasons:

  1. If product is out of stock or is discontinued

  2. Inaccuracies or errors in pricing information

We will inform you about the cancellation of your order and share details if partial order is cancelled or whole. We will contact you if any additional information is required to accept your order.

How will I get a refund for the order I cancelled or returned?

Once the resolution is set for refund, we move ahead with the refund. Refund will be done by the same method in which we received the payment from you.

In case of refunds for orders with online options as mode of payment (Debit Cards, Credit Cards), 2% of the total amount will be deducted and refunded to the account from which the payment was made. Order in this case can only be cancelled before dispatch of products. Refund process will take 4-5 business days to reflect in your accounts. 

How long will it take me to receive the refund after I cancelled / returned the order?
We take anywhere between 7-15 days to complete your refund request. The refund amount will be credited to the same account from where payment was made.

I've still not received the refund in my bank account. Why?
If you have received a mail from us confirming your refund request, then rest assured that we have initiated your refund request and are following up with financial organisations for the same. Sometimes financial organizations take a longer time to process the refund request. However, if the refund hasn't happened by the date we promised, you can contact us. We will help you.

Can I ask for NEFT refund if I paid through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking?
We are sorry. In case you paid via credit card/debit card/net banking, the amount will be refunded in the same account as you had made payment from.
